VASS Project: A "Lotto by phone" Center

VASS (Value Added Services System) is an information system which gather bets from authorized players (i.e. players who had purchased a Lottery card), charge the player's card with the corresponding amount, deliver results to authorized players, periodically report the bets and result deliveries it carried out, etc.

Client : Comitex S.p.A., Rome, Italy.

Activity description : Training of the development team. Specified the system requirements, built the conceptual model and designed the system architecture. Participated in coding and debugging.

Environments/Tools used : Escala/AIX, Oracle, Java, UML, Rational Enterprise Suite, JBuilder.

Skills/Roles : Systems analyst, software architect, and technical trainer.
